I am an assistant principal and also an Ed.D student at UNCG where I am beginning research on my dissertation. My topic is Underrepresentation of Latino Students in Gifted Programs. I found your website and was excited to view your many resources. I was wondering if you knew of any additional resources focusing on latino students and gifted education.

So here’s a starter question: What has motivated you to serve Latino families and why?
My answer would be working with Latino families via my church and finding out that many of these families have so very complex needs and limited access to resources and help. I love these families to the core and want to do all I can for these families. I know it sounds trite. But I really need the love and connection I get from having these families in my life. I would love to do so much more…. and be so much more like these families.
